What is the Government Affairs Committee?
The AIA MA Government Affairs Committee (GAC) is the sole committee of AIA MA and open to all individual members of any of the three local member chapters. The mission of the GAC is to actively participate in the legislative process and encourage public advocacy.
How We Participate in the Legislative Process

Track current legislation filed by others

Participate in strategic decisions to support, oppose, or ignore

Seek input from membership

Develop strategic partners for legislation

Manage member contacts with the legislature and administration

2023 Government Affairs Committee Meeting Schedule
The GAC meets on the second Wednesday of every month at 8:30 A.M. virtually via Zoom. Registration is required for each meeting. After registering, you will receive a confirmation email containing information about joining the meeting.
